Since breaking my foot in a freak bicycle accident (a.k.a. I feel off my bike like a moron), I’m beginning to realize that I’ve been taking the little things in life for granted. Millennials have grown so accustomed to instant gratification and mind-blowing technology that we often forget about the small things in life that make us happy. Here are some things that I truly miss about not having a really stylish boot on my foot:

My phone is a source of joy and of utter misery in my life. I am totally dependent on it, yet I loathe it. It’s like a weight in my pocket that whispers “Hey girl, why don’t you just take a peek at Facebook? What if you miss something important? You’ll be prettier if you check Tinder.”
I don’t want to be so attached to this damn device but I literally use it for everything.

Ok now that that is out of the way, I would like to discuss a few things:
Let’s start here… even though it is adorable how much you want to protect me, you HAVE to stop barking at everyone that walks by the house… You see, not everyone wants to hurt Mommy. Those 12–year-olds across the street are skateboarding because they have nothing else to do. Not because they want to shoot up Mommy with heroin.
